WASH YOUR HANDS FIRST

ALWAYS, CLEAN HANDS BEFORE TOUCHING YOUR PIERCING

Washing thoroughly with antibacterial soap ensures the protection  of dirt and oils from your fingers transferred to your piercing (which is an open wound), and potentially cause an infection.

TAKE VITAMINS

ALSO AVOID ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION

Alcohol decreases the time of healing because your amuse system will not function normally, where Vitamins are good for speeding up the healing.

BE CAREFUL YOUR PIERCING TAKES TIME TO HEAL

If you think that once you do the piercing everything will be ok, you are very wrong. Piercings, in general, take a good amount of time to heal and while they heal they need proper continous care.

Precautions
aid43700-728px-Care-for-a-New-Tattoo-Step-1.jpg

AVOID TOUCHING

THE WORST HABIT EVER

It is common sense to put it this way, our hands are never bacteria free. There will be always the factor of risk if you touch the piercing because during healing imagine the piercing as an open gate to anything surround it that is why the area must be clean at all times until healing is done.

DONT CHANGE THE JEWELRY

YOUR INITIAL PIERCING MUST STAY

For at least 6 months to a year, your piercing must be in place. using other fashion accessories will for sure disturb the healing process and would be a nightmare if you use piercing that is not biocompatible. Your body will most likely reject it even replacing it would cause the inside of the hole to be scratched and that will slow down the healing where it has to happen all over again

DON'T APPLY OINTMENT

DON'T IMPROVISE ONLY DO THE RIGHT THING

Many people logically think that they will prevent the bacteria from forming or speed up the healing of piercing by applying ointment. This thought is absolutely false and will cause infection because the skin will be forced to heal and will cause extra skin to be formed unnaturally

NO SWIMMING IN POOLS

SWIMMING IN THE SEA IS FINE BUT NOT FOR LONG

Submerging in any water can be a major cause of infection from bacterial pathogens. Water composition allows bacteria to reproduce easily which is never good for your piercings as the liquidity of water allows bacteria to access old parts around the piercing. Sauna steam room any other water activity might affect the piercing healing process swimming in the sea for not more than 15 minutes is fine.

SLEEP SIT AND STAND

TRY TO SLEEP ON YOUR BACK FIRST MONTH

You can accidentally bump touch the piercing while you are sleeping which is very normal, it's a must to watch out for your new piercing at the beginning of the healing phase, sitting and standing may scratch the inside off your piercing hole which would cause irritation any fast abdominal movement is not advised.

Protocol

HEALING YOUR INFECTED OR REJECTED PIERCING
